Yes — the J32A3 V6 from a 2004-2008 Acura TL (UA6) fits a 2004-2008 Acura TSX (CL9) with the Hasport CL9J mount kit, which bolts to the stock TSX subframe. The CL9 TSX came with the K24A2 four-cylinder, but Hasport makes a dedicated J-series kit, and Hybrid Racing notes the kit is reversible because the factory subframe is not cut. Hybrid Racing lists J30, J32, J35 and J37 engines as compatible with the mounts. If the TSX started as an automatic, the manual pedal box needs Hasport's cowl brace on 04-06 cars.

Required modifications

Swap mounts: Hasport CL9J J-series mount kit for 04-08 TSX, which bolts to the stock TSX subframe (Hybrid Racing lists it for J30, J32, J35 and J37 engines). Automatic-to-manual cars: on 04-06 TSX Hasport says the clutch pedal must be braced to the cowl using its CL9TCB brace (welded or riveted), which requires removing the dashboard. Also plan for J-series-specific axles and engine wiring/ECU integration into the TSX chassis, plus cooling hose, exhaust and intake changes to suit the V6.

  • The J32A3 has its exhaust manifold cast into the cylinder head (per Wikipedia), which limits header choices.
