Yes — the K24Z7 engine and 6-speed transmission from a 2012-2015 Civic Si (FB6/FG4) fits a 2009-2013 Fit (GE8) with the Hasport GEK3-24 mount kit, plus wiring, shifter cables, axles and cooling for the swap. Hasport says most GE Fit swaps use a K24Z engine, and Hybrid Racing lists GEK3 for the 12-15 Civic Si transmission (K24Z7). Hasport's dual-height mounts keep the head in the same place for K20 or K24. This is a full engine conversion; the mount kit is only one part of it.

Required modifications

Engine mounts: Hasport GEK. GEK3-24 is the version for a K24 engine with the 08-13 Accord, 09-14 TSX or 12-15 Civic Si manual transmission (GEK1 and GEK2 versions cover RSX/02-11 Si and 03-07 Accord/04-08 TSX gearboxes). Hasport notes its rear brackets for the TSX/Accord/12-15 Si transmission do not work with US K24A1, K20A2, K20A3 and K20Z1 blocks; that is not an issue for a K24Z engine. Also needed: shifter cables for the chosen gearbox, wiring and ECU, axles, cooling, fuel and exhaust.

Important caveats

  • Hasport's TSX/Accord/12-15 Si rear brackets do not fit US K24A1, K20A2, K20A3 or K20Z1 blocks.
  • Hasport lists the GEK kit for 2009-2014 Fit; the US GE8 Fit was sold for 2009-2013 and the chassis continued in other markets.
  • Hybrid Racing's ready-made GE shifter cables are for the K20Z3 transmission, not the K24Z7 gearbox; plan shifter cables separately.
  • Engine wiring and ECU are not covered by the mount kit.
