K24A2 engine and 6-speed (K-swap)
into Accord (from TSX)
Yes: the K24A2 engine and 6-speed (K-swap) from the TSX (2004-2008) fits the Accord (1994-1997) — difficult difficulty, modifications required.
Installation notes
Required modifications
Swap mounts: Hasport CDK kit — CDK2 (RSX/02-11 Civic Si manual transmissions), CDK4 (03-07 Accord/04-08 TSX manual), CDK5 (08-13 Accord/09-14 TSX/12-15 Civic Si manual) or CDKAWD (K-series CR-V/Element transmissions, order by email). Hasport says engine bay modifications including some welding are required. Axles: Hasport HP-CDKAX K-swap axle set for 94-97 Accord, designed for the Accord/TSX intermediate shaft (street use). Also needed: engine harness and ECU solution, shifter linkage/cables, cooling and exhaust.
Important caveats
- Hasport states welding is required in the engine bay.
- Hasport's CD Accord axles are for street use, not drag racing, and are designed for the Accord/TSX intermediate shaft.
- Both sources are Hasport pages; no independent build write-up was verified for this entry.
- Wiring and ECU integration for the CD chassis are not covered by the vendor pages.
