Important Caveats
- • The 22mm Mini rotor is thinner than the 23mm Type R disc it is spaced for, so bracket choice matters; a 25T bracket overextends the piston. Legend/NSX caliper users should keep the bracket that ships with those calipers.
- • RSX/EP3 rear calipers must be fitted on the opposite side to bolt up, which points the bleeder down and forces an inverted bleed; genuine ITR rear calipers keep the bleeder correct but are expensive.
- • Bleed all four corners, not just the fronts, or the pedal stays soft.
- • Wheel clearance is good on 15x6 OEM Honda wheels and most correctly sized aftermarket wheels, but a few tight designs need a thin spacer or minor caliper grinding.
- • Substitute pads that are not the TSX unit can overhang the rotor edge slightly and wear a line, though no performance loss has been reported.
