The lip's central mounting-bracket hole aligns with an existing hole in the EG bumper, allowing a single short screw with nut and wide washer to anchor the middle. The corners, which stand proud because of the wider Si profile, are drawn in using long flat-ended screws threaded through freshly drilled holes and adjusted from behind with nuts. Combined with strips of 3M double-sided tape at the center, mid-sides, and edges, this closes the corner gaps and produces a flush fit with no exposed hardware.
The Si bumper is wider than the EG bumper, so the lip does not sit flush at the front corners. Small 4mm holes must be drilled through the bumper corners to accept long adjustment screws that pull the sides in. The center is anchored through an existing hole, and double-sided tape supplements the fasteners along the face. No cutting of the bumper is required beyond the two small drilled holes.

Important Caveats

  • • The drilled holes are permanent, so the modification is not fully reversible.
  • • Fitment relies on tape plus screws working together; neither the tape nor the screws alone holds the lip reliably.
