K24A1 engine with AWD manual transmission and rear driveline (K-swap AWD)
into Integra (from CR-V)
Yes: the K24A1 engine with AWD manual transmission and rear driveline (K-swap AWD) from the CR-V (2002-2006) fits the Integra (1994-2001) — difficult difficulty, modifications required.
Installation notes
Required modifications
Engine mounts: Hasport EGK kit in its EGKAWD version (K-series CR-V and Element AWD or FWD manual transmissions), which Hasport sells for the 94-01 Integra (DC2) as well as the EG Civic and del Sol. Hasport also sells an AWD K-series rear engine bracket, described as 'for use with Hasport EGK2 and EKK2 mount kits' (listed for the 92-95 Civic, 93-97 del Sol and 94-01 Integra); confirm with Hasport whether your build needs the EGKAWD kit or an EGK2 kit with this bracket. The stock transmission bracket must be cut off the frame rail. Rear differential: Innovative Mounts AWD rear diff mount kit 103360 for the 94-01 Integra, for the 88-91 Wagon or Element/CR-V rear differential (rear subframe notching and rivnuts). Also needs a K-swap harness/ECU, driveshaft, viscous coupler mounting and axles.
Important caveats
- Rear differential mounting needs the rear subframe notched and rivnuts installed (Innovative), plus a driveshaft and viscous coupler mounting.
- The donor gearbox must be a K-series CR-V or Element AWD manual; automatic CR-Vs are far more common.
- Neither vendor page lists axle part numbers for a K-series AWD conversion; plan custom or confirmed-fitment axles.
- Hasport says the stock transmission bracket must be cut off the frame rail for the EGK kit.
