This fitment targets EG and EK Civics and the DC2 Integra using a Hybrid Racing 02-04 conversion harness alongside the Hondata parts. It is not plug-and-play and requires both 02-04 and 05-06 (RSX Type-S manual) pinout diagrams. Simply splicing the 05-06 VSS connector into an older harness does not work because the signal frequency differs. If the converted K-Pro is unavailable, VTEC and other speed-gated features can still be enabled through the 'create constant speed signal' option, but the speedometer will not read. The wire relocations are confined to the ECU; nothing in the engine bay or under the dash needs rewiring.
