Important Caveats
- • Skipping the proportioning valve and master cylinder on stock or soft suspension can lock the rear wheels and cause loss of control; only lowered cars on stiffer springs are commonly reported to brake acceptably on the stock valve.
- • The main trailing-arm bolts thread into captive nuts welded inside the frame and can shear or spin free; penetrating oil and patience are essential.
- • Retaining fasteners are Torx T50, not hex; using a hex key strips them.
- • Integra bushings are sometimes larger than Civic bushings, so a polyurethane kit must match the specific donor arm.
- • Some listings describe the Si master cylinder bore as 7/8 rather than 15/16; verify by measurement or part number before purchase.
