Yes — the front calipers and rotors from a 2002–2004 Acura RSX Type-S (DC5) fit a 2002–2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3) that has been converted to 5-lug with RSX Type-S knuckles. MotoIQ's Project EP3 says the Type-S front rotors and calipers are 1.5 inches bigger in diameter than the base RSX parts and bolt right in. A Honda-Tech thread on the same conversion lists Type-S calipers, rotors and brake lines in the parts list. If you only want the 5-lug pattern, base RSX rotors are the simpler bolt-on choice.

Required modifications

This needs the 5-lug conversion first, using 2002–2004 RSX Type-S front knuckles and hubs. After that, MotoIQ says the RSX Type-S front rotors and calipers bolt right in. Owners in the Honda-Tech thread also used RSX Type-S brake lines and fitted new pads. Bleed the brakes after installation.

Caution

Important caveats

  • This brake upgrade depends on the 5-lug knuckle conversion. The Type-S caliper and rotor won't fit the stock 4-lug EP3 knuckle.
  • The 7th-gen Civic parts-list guide says you need at least 16-inch wheels to clear the RSX Type-S front calipers. Check your wheels before you buy.
  • Brake lines: the Honda-Tech owner fitted RSX Type-S brake lines with the calipers.
  • No OEM part numbers or rotor dimensions in millimetres were confirmed. MotoIQ only gives the size difference (1.5 inches larger in diameter than base RSX).
