Yes — the J32A2 V6 from a 2001-2003 Acura CL Type-S (YA4) can be fitted to a 2000-2009 Honda S2000 (AP1/AP2) longitudinally, mated to the factory S2000 6-speed via an InlinePRO J2F adapter plate. InlinePRO sells the adapter, flywheel and starter spacers, mount brackets and headers for this conversion, and Innovative Mounts sells a matching 80950 mount kit. Innovative lists the kit for J32A engines and warns that J35/J37 may need extra modification. This is a custom swap: the engine is turned 90 degrees from its original transverse layout, so expect fabrication throughout.

Required modifications

Adapter: InlinePRO J2F GEN1 adapter plate (J32A2 or J35A3 to the S2000 6-speed manual) or J2F GEN2 plate for J35A8-style engines. InlinePRO also lists a J-series flywheel spacer (to use the stock flywheel and clutch), a starter spacer (starter sits under the engine; K20A2 starter recommended) and S2000 J2F engine mount brackets for use with OE S2000 mounts. Alternatively, Innovative Mounts 80950 J-series conversion mount kit for 00-09 S2000, which requires the InlinePRO J-to-F adapter plate. Innovative states the J-series oil filter area must be modified to fit and some chassis modification may be needed. Also needed: headers (InlinePRO sells J2F headers), custom wiring/ECU, cooling and intake.
