Yes: the Honda Access OEM fog light accessory kit (4-door sedan P/N 08V31-SNA-100; 2-door coupe P/N 08V31-SVA-110E) from the Civic EX-L/Si (factory fog-light-equipped trims) (2006-2011) fits the Civic DX/LX/EX (non-fog trims) (2006-2011) — moderate difficulty, modifications required.
Installation notes
Required modifications
This is Honda's own factory accessory kit (Honda Access), not an aftermarket universal kit, and the two official American Honda installation instruction sheets differ by body style. For the 4-door sedan (AII 30181, P/N 08V31-SNA-100): remove the front bulkhead cover and front bumper, then on the inside of the bumper locate eight marked points, pierce them with a pushpin, drill each with a 20mm hole saw, and cut out the marked area with a hacksaw blade before each fog light will seat in the bumper - non-fog sedan bumpers from this generation are not pre-cut for fog lights. Secure the lights with the supplied stepped screws, route the fog light harness/sub-harness and switch harness, mount the relay and 20A fuse, and connect into the vehicle harness; the sedan instructions use one switch-install procedure for every trim. For the 2-door coupe (AII 42487, P/N 08V31-SVA-110E, issued Aug 2009): the procedure instead plugs the switch harness into the car's existing white 34-pin and blue 20-pin vehicle harness connectors and a 6-pin switch-harness connector, without cutting the bumper; unlike the sedan sheet, the coupe instructions do split by trim at the switch-install step, with separate steps for DX versus LX/EX meter panels/dash switch blanks.
Important caveats
- This is Honda's own documented Honda Access accessory kit, not an aftermarket universal kit - Honda's own installation instructions state the job is intended for skilled technicians with the proper tools, not do-it-yourselfers.
- The 4-door sedan kit (AII 30181) requires marking eight points on the inside of the front bumper with a pushpin, drilling each with a 20mm hole saw, and hacksaw-cutting the marked area out before the fog light will seat - there is no undoing that cut once it's made.
- Only the 2-door coupe instructions (AII 42487) split the switch installation by trim, with separate steps for DX versus LX/EX meter panels/dash switch blanks; the 4-door sedan instructions (AII 30181) use one procedure for every trim, so don't assume the coupe's trim-specific steps apply to a sedan.
- The 2-door coupe kit (AII 42487) does not require cutting the bumper - it uses the car's existing white 34-pin and blue 20-pin harness connectors - so the sedan's bumper-cutting steps don't carry over to a coupe, and vice versa.
- Record the radio/navigation anti-theft code and station presets before disconnecting the battery, per Honda's own instructions, or you may need the dealer to re-enter them.
