Installation notes
Yes — the V6-size front calipers and brackets used on a 1998-2002 Honda Accord V6 (CG) fit a 1998-2002 Honda Accord 4-cylinder (CG) with 4-lug, roughly 11-inch rotors from a 4th-generation (1992-1996) Prelude. In a 6thGenAccord DIY, S-spec built this setup and called it identical to the Integra Type R setup apart from the 4x114.3 bolt pattern. He says it clears stock wheels to his knowledge. In the forum's 'Integra Type R Brakes' thread, Drift runs V6 calipers with 1995 Prelude VTEC rotors (11.1 inches, 4-lug). He says everything bolts on without modification and that ITR, NSX and Legend calipers also work.
Caution
Important caveats
- V6 rotors are 5-lug, so on a 4-lug car you need a 4x114.3 rotor of the same size (the Prelude rotor) instead.
- Wheel clearance was confirmed on stock wheels in the DIY ('to my knowledge'); check aftermarket wheels before fitting.
- Caliper brackets come in different thicknesses (23T/25T/28T); match the bracket to the 23 mm Prelude rotor.
- No OEM part numbers were confirmed for this entry.
