J32A2 3.2L V6 engine (J-swap)
into Integra (from CL Type-S)
Yes: the J32A2 3.2L V6 engine (J-swap) from the CL Type-S (2001-2003) fits the Integra (1994-2001) — difficult difficulty, modifications required.
Installation notes
Required modifications
Swap mounts: the same kits as the EG Civic — Hasport EGJ1 or EGJ2 (both listed for 94-01 Integra) or Innovative Mounts 80150 (with alternator relocator) / 80151 (without), which Innovative lists for the 94-01 Integra DC2 with a manual transmission. Axles: Hasport HP-EGJ1AX, listed for 92-00 Civic / 94-01 Integra J-swaps using the J-series automatic intermediate shaft. Hasport states some engine bay modification is required. Also needed: manual J-series transmission, engine harness and ECU solution, custom cooling, exhaust, and A/C delete or custom lines; protect the low J-series oil pan (Hasport DJ-SKID skid plate, which can also carry a relocated 92-00 Civic D-series alternator).
Important caveats
- Hasport notes that some engine bay modification is required before the EGJ kits bolt in.
- Only the EGJ2 kit is described by Hasport as fitting the J-series under the hood.
- Hasport's matching J-swap axles assume the J-series automatic intermediate shaft; ask Hasport if using a manual intermediate shaft.
- Innovative lists its kit for the J32; J35/J37 builds should confirm fitment with the vendor.
