B-series AWD manual transmission and rear driveline (AWD conversion)
into Integra (from CR-V)
Yes: the B-series AWD manual transmission and rear driveline (AWD conversion) from the CR-V (1997-2001) fits the Integra (1994-2001) — difficult difficulty, modifications required.
Installation notes
Required modifications
Engine/transmission mounts: Hasport DC2AWD (B-series engine with 3-bolt left-hand bracket and CR-V AWD manual transmission in the 94-01 Integra and 92-95 Civic; includes rear bracket EGRBAWD). Engines with a 2-bolt bracket use EGBAWD, which Hasport also lists for the 94-01 Integra. Rear differential: Innovative Mounts AWD rear diff mount kit 103360 for the 92-95 Civic and 94-01 Integra (88-91 Wagon or Element/CR-V rear differential; rear subframe notching and rivnuts). Axles: Driveshaft Shop AWD B-series conversion axles (510077) are rear axles, listed for the 94-01 Integra and built for the 88-91 Wagon/Shuttle 25-spline rear differential. Front axles are not covered by the listed sources.
Important caveats
- This is a full AWD conversion: the rear subframe has to be notched and the rear differential, driveshaft and viscous coupler need mounting points, not just engine mounts.
- Innovative's rear differential kit uses rivnuts (13.5mm or 17/32 in drill) and recommends welding the brackets for high-power use.
- Driveshaft Shop's conversion axles are built for the 88-91 Civic Wagon/Shuttle 25-spline rear differential with 23-spline outers and hubs; other setups need custom axles.
- Fuel tank, exhaust, parking brake and rear suspension packaging are not covered by any single kit listed here.
- Hasport's DC2AWD page says '94-01 CRV' in one place and '97-01 CRV' in another; the CR-V AWD manual gearbox (SBXM) is from the first-generation 1997-2001 CR-V, so treat 97-01 as correct.
