Installation notes
Yes — the J32A3 V6 and 6-speed manual from a 2004-2008 TL (UA6) fits a 1996-2000 Civic (EK) with an EG or DC2 front subframe and an EK J-series mount kit, plus V6-specific wiring, axles and cooling. Hasport says its EKJ1 kit makes the swap bolt-in but that the EG Civic or DC2 Integra subframe must be used. Innovative's EK J-series kit is also built for the EG subframe. The J32A3 is a 3.2 L SOHC VTEC V6.

Required modifications
Subframe: both listed kits require the EG Civic or DC2 Integra front subframe in the EK. Engine mounts: Hasport EKJ1 or Innovative 80050 (EK/EJ with EG subframe, J-series with manual transmission). Also wiring/ECU, axles, shifter, cooling, fuel and exhaust sized for a V6.
Caution
Important caveats
- An EG Civic or DC2 Integra front subframe is required; the stock EK subframe is not used with these kits.
- Wikipedia notes the 2007-2008 TL J32A3 has a revised bellhousing; keep engine and transmission years consistent.
- Both kits are for manual transmissions.
- A V6 adds significant weight over the front axle compared with the original D-series.
