Hasport's EKK product page says the kit 'requires the use of the EG or DC2 subframe, steering rack, and lower control arms.' Hybrid Racing's listing for the same kit says this setup puts the engine slightly farther back in the bay. That gives more room for the radiator, A/C compressor and headers. Innovative Mounts' EK kit (Hybrid Racing listing) lists the same requirement and says the EG/DC2 subframe must include the rear crossmember.

  • The EK's own subframe will not work with these mount kits; Innovative Mounts advises assuming a car has the EK subframe unless you swapped it yourself.
  • Use the steering rack and LCAs that match the donor subframe; they are treated as a set.
