The Acura TL AWD rear sway bar (P/N 52300-TK5-A02) reuses the Crosstour's existing bracket mounting points and endlinks, replacing the factory 15MM bar with a thicker 20MM bar for increased rear roll stiffness. The bar must be paired with the matching TL bushings (P/N 52306-TK5-A01, quantity 2), which are sized for the larger diameter; grease them with silicone grease and orient the factory split the same way as the outgoing bushings. Fitment applies to 2010-2012 Crosstour, both 2WD and AWD. Total parts cost was approximately $86.39 including shipping.

Important Caveats

  • • Install the new bushings with their factory cut/split oriented exactly as the removed bushings were, or they can shift and squeak.
  • • The larger rear bar raises rear roll stiffness and moves the handling balance rearward; verify the car behaves predictably on an easy shakedown drive.
  • • Torque the four bracket bolts and both endlink nuts to OEM specification after installation.
